Spiro Maragoudakis
Spiro Maragoudakis is the Founder, Owner and Operator of Clear Images School Photography, a full-service school, personal, commercial and corporate photographic service provider.
An artist at heart, Spiro began his passion for illustrating, painting and designing at a young age. This passion and love of all things artistic drove him to pursue Graphic Design at George Brown College. This opened the door to photography, where Spiro truly found his calling, first as a pupil and now as a mentor. One of his fondest memories involved photographing kindergarten students in 2006. Where, one student in particular laughed so hysterically when the flash went off, and in that instant Spiro realized his calling was this; capturing special moments, a keepsake within an individuals’ time capsule wrapped in fun and enjoyment.
Spiro opened his first studio, Bright Pics Inc. in 2007, a full-service school photography provider to over 250 schools. This venture allowed him to hone his photographic skills, as well as, establish long standing relationships with administrators, their schools and communities. Although rewarding, he decided to sell his shares and open his own company. A company that could fully reflect his vision, values, service and passion for photography under one brand – Clear Images School Photography.
Clear Images School Photography is the new banner under which Spiro will continue to be part of a Canadian photographic tradition. He is honoured and privileged to help capture celebratory moments in the lives of a community. He has always believed a great photo is a physical, tangible memory of a point in time along a wonderful journey of amazing achievements and adventures.
